Experience with unconventional reservoirs will be considered a plus.

To qualify, candidates must have no less than a Bachelors Degree in Petroleum Engineering and/or Geology (prefer a Masters Degree), and a minimum of 3 years in a management titled position over the functions detailed above. In addition to the stated management experience, we are looking for at least 15 years of E&P experience (20 years would be even better, and 30 years is probably over-qualified).

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

	Responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of a 48+ MW Solid Fuel Fired, CFB Boiler and Associated Steam Turbine Generator in accordance with OSHA standards and written Company Policy.
	Direct the activities of the Maintenance Department in a manner in which the reliability of plant equipment is maintained, preservation of the capital asset is retained and the plant’s operating revenues are maximized.
	Prepare an annual maintenance budget that funds all forecasted maintenance necessary to ensure this plant meets its annual electrical generating capacity requirements as set forth in the budget and as regulated by contract with the contracting electrical utility.
	Administer the operation of the Company’s computerized maintenance system (MainSaver) to ensure that maintenance is accurately scheduled and assigned, that outside contractors are contracted with as needed and that the repair parts and materials are correctly identified and ordered to support scheduled work. Ensure that an accurate history of the maintenance performed on this plant is recorded and available for future reference.
	Hire, supervise and discipline Maintenance Department personnel as required to support the operation of this Electrical Generating Facility.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

	Plan long and short term maintenance projects that are necessary to ensure this plant’s ability to meet contractual obligations for annual electrical generation. Review each work request, assign appropriate maintenance personnel and plan the scope of work to be completed.
	If outside contractor assistance is needed, initiate required Contract Service Agreements with the contractor prior to commencement of work.

Ensure that an accurate history of the maintenance performed on this plant is recorded and available for future reference.

Hire, supervise and discipline Maintenance Department personnel as required to support the operation of this Electrical Generating Facility.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

Plan long and short term maintenance projects that are necessary to ensure this plant’s ability to meet contractual obligations for annual electrical generation. Review each work request, assign appropriate maintenance personnel and plan the scope of work to be completed.

If outside contractor assistance is needed, initiate required Contract Service Agreements with the contractor prior to commencement of work.

Using Microsoft Project or similar planning software, plan and schedule in detail the annual maintenance outage when the plant will be shut down for repairs.

	Performs test runs on various input stocks at start of crop year to determine ideal processing setups and estimated yields for balance of crop. Includes sizing, color sorting, shelling, recovery, artificial opening, etc.
	Sets crop year yield targets based on yield tests.
	Establishes online targets based on crop quality and process capabilities.
	Recommends and/or implements modifications to specifications, processing methods, etc., based on yield impact of crop.
	Ensures accurate production models are utilized and the correct resources are consumed and produced.
	Tracks yield performance for all crop operations: weekly, year-to-date, trend, and crop year outlook. continually monitors throughout the year, red-flagging to upper management deviation from expected yields.
	Collects silo data (compressions, quality attributes, etc.), during and immediately after harvest. Boils down silo attribute data into a crop year silo selection plan.
	Tracks inventory remaining in silos and uses to adjust yield outlook.
	Holds weekly yield and inventory analysis meetings with production management to review yield information and trends.
	Interacts on regular basis with sales management and analysts to build available-to-sell estimates.
	Builds and maintains correct production models.
	Identifies new and improved methods and tools for tracking and maximizing yield performance.

Principal Job Duties Include:

1. Meet with management and discuss their needs for modifying and/or expanding existing machinery or production lines.

3. Develop preliminary concepts, process flow diagrams, and major equipment requirements in conjunction with production and maintenance personnel

Position Criteria:
